I know that some Christian faiths don't celebrate Easter because of its connection to Paganism. Is it wrong for Christians to celebrate Easter, why or why not. Does your church celebrate Easter, why or why not. If your church does celebrate Easter what do they do. How do they celebrate it. What do they emphasize. Should we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus everyday. How.

What Can Ministers Do After Leaving Ministry

Ministers leave ministry at large numbers every yeaar, I being one of them. Yes, I do fill in at area churches when needed but I am talking about careers afterword. So, what can Ministers do when they choose to leave full time ministry. What can you do when your degree is, education, is specialized in Ministry, Youth Ministry, or Theology. If you have left ministry what have you done. Have you found it difficult. What jobs can ministers who have decided a new path do. If you have left ministry what are you doing now. Is there hope for those of us who have a B.A. in Bible for the real world. I need ideas. Help in choose what I do next.. Please share your thoughts.

Did Jesus ever get into trouble as a kid?

Was Jesus ever disrespectful to his parents Mary and Joseph? What about the remark Jesus made after not telling his parents where he had been? "Don't you know I had to be about my Father's business?" Wow. Grounds in my house for spanking...Talking back. Samrting off. How do you think it made Joseph feel? "My Father's" business. I was asked once, do you think Jesus ever got in trouble? Did he ever get disciplined as a child? Well, what do think? Was Jesus human? Does he know what it is like to receive discipline? Correction? Or was Jesus the perfect little boy who never got in any trouble? Minded, never talked back even when he was in the temple at the age of 12? If he was the perfect son, how do you think it made his other brothers and sisters feel? Any resentment, perhaps? Why does the New Testament not tell us about Jesus childhood, and teenage years? From ages 12 to 30 nothing?

6 Years...Time does fly.

Preacherman blog is celebrating 6 years...Yes 6 years this month. I appreciate all of you who read my blog and comment. It is my desire to challenge people to think, question and discuss a variety of topics facing life, theology, and the Church. I will strive to continue to question and spark discussion. Again thank you, so vary much for your faithfulness in reading Preacherman.
