Best Way to Evangelize

(Question mark on my keyboard not working) What is the best way to evangelize. Is there more effective ways to share the gospel with others. If so what are they. What methods do you use. What method does your Church use to reach the lost for Jesus.

What do you think.
Share your thoughts.

    I agree.
So many Churches seem to try to use gimmicks to get followers. But I really believe people see through it.

  5. I think the Church fails in evangelism when they use gimmicks. People do see through being fake.

  6. I think we don't need to "Evangelize." I think we need to witness, As Christ calls us in Acts 1:8.

I think that we need to share through our actions and our words and let people see the difference in us compared to the world.

    what is friendship?
    what is a "nourishing" person?
    what is the GOSPEL?
    what is GOD's part?
    what is my part?
can the way i do my part be reproduced as Good News, or, will it be somehow changed into Bad News?

  9. This subject comes up all the time in conversations with Christian friends. Paul says he was all things to all people. When he shared the Good News he knew who he was talking to, what they believed. He addressed the Jews on their terms and the Greeks on theirs. The thing to remember when evangelizing is everybody thinks their way is the right way. I've had atheists try to convert me to their way of thinking. So, what's the best way? In my opinion it's to listen and observe before saying anything, be patient and wait for the perfect opening. That way a person is less likely to close their mind before you get the second word out. It's also important to back-up what you say with Christian behavior. No point preaching the Bible if you do something thoughtless the minute you close it.

Still looking for a church which emphasizes evangelism. Theme is the same as has been over the decades - the worship service. Be there and you're faithful. Diligence in 'on our face prayer' for God to light a fire in our hearts for the lost! It's not new methods or classes we need but conviction and dedication to Him.
