Wade is a true "liberal". I think he would be even if he wasn't in Liberal, KS. I worked with Wade in Liberal. I was youth and family minister at the time while he was Sr. Minister. Hooker, Ok is about 25 miles from Liberal, KS. Well, one day Wade took off for vacation so I was incharge of checking the bulletin for errors. The secretary wrote, "The Liberal ladies will be attending the Hooker retreat." :-) Wade sure had a laugh about that one. Really, I appreciate his friendship more than any minister I have worked with. He treated me as an equal. With respect, patience, has given me guidance throughout my ministry. He also recommends a good read every once and a while.
