Does God treat those who serve Him good? Does He bless? Is life any better now for those who serve God than for those who don't? Should there be some benefit or temporary blessing for choosing to follow God now? Is the promise of heaven of enough or should God make life better for those who make the choice to serve Him now? What kind of Father is God? Does he abuse His children or does he treat them with love? Is he present or absent in the lives of those who follow Him?

That God loves you and has even chosen you does not guarantee smooth sailing through life. In fact, if you take Jesus' words to his disciples seriously, at a minimum, those followers were promised big time trouble!
ReplyDeleteA careful reading of Hebrews 11 (the chapter of the faithful..) you will discover the first half of the chapter included those who did great exploits for God like stopping the mouths of lions for His glory. But, in the 2nd half of the chapter there are those whose journey of faith included being sawed into among other calamities that befell them.
God never promises those who trust him they will always avoid trouble. What He does promise is that He will be in the trouble with you. The result is that anyone faithful to God can expect peace of heart and joy that can't be touched by circumstances.

If you follow a God of your own making, as most of you do, then you will not be blessed by the true God apart from the rain and the sunshine on your heads.
Nobody chooses the true God.
Everybody is a hater of the true God and a lover of self.
They invent a god and serve him, instead of serving the true God.

The Lord is not a respecter of persons, denominations or creeds.
He destroys everyone who does not know God and does not believe in Him or keeps His commandments, whether they are Jews, Gentiles, Christians or Kalathumpians.
Neither is there any blessings or rewards for them except a horrifying judgment, but the Lord is rewarding everyone who diligently seek Him.
Blessings and abundance of blessings are only for His children who love and obey Him, but the rod of correction is for the back of fools.
Israel always played the harlot and rejected the Lord and worshiped their own idea of God, therefore the Lord punished them severely for their sins.
Christians are exactly the same; they also invent a god after their own likings and worship him.
As the Lord destroyed all those Israelites, what do you think He will do with all those so called Christians?
Do you think that they should receive a blessing because they follow God?
Muslims follow God, and do you think that they will receive a blessing from the Lord?
Mormons, Jews, Jehovah Witnesses and Catholics all follow God, in fact every devil follows God and none of them qualifies for any blessings from the Lord.

If you believe in God, then you believe in a false God.
If you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, then you believe in the true God.
If you serve God, then you serve a false God.
If you serve the Lord Jesus Christ, then you serve the true God.
If you follow God, then you follow a false God.
If you follow the Lord Jesus Christ, then you follow the true God.(1 John 5:20)
If God is your Father, then you have a wrong Father.
If the Lord Jesus Christ is your heavenly Father, then you are born of God and you are my brother in Christ.

God indeed blesses His children. We will experience trials to build character,but always God will give us strength and wisdom if we ask for it. And His presence is with His followers, Christians, all the time.
