Seeker Services or A Better Way To Reach Seekers and Unchurched?

Is your church Seeker friendly? Should churches be Seeker friendly? What is your church doing to reach out to those who are seeking Jesus or unchurched? How does your church reach out to the seekers and unchurched? Some churches are now having what they call Seeker Services, does your church have one? Are they and how are they different from other of your church services? Should churches have services geared to or just for those who are seeking or unchurched? Why or why not? Are there better ways than having seeker services to reach out to those seeking and the unchurched? If so what are they?

  1. Seeker Services are just gimmicks. Real outreach, help, compassion, love, forgiveness, acceptance, meeting needs is what seekers and the unchurch need.

Never heard of a seeker service. What's the difference? Shouldn't every service be accepting of anyone? I think so. Personal relationships are the best way to reach out to others. It not what we do on Sunday but how we live the rest of the week.
