  1. Lots of reasons..in terms of what brought me here, but only one thing that keeps me here...Jesus. His love, his life, his father...the list has no end.

  2. I don't like the alternative very much. Life is better than death, No condemnation is better than being condemned, heaven is better than hell, faith is better than fear, hope is better than hopelessness,a new body is better than a decayed body, and Jesus is better than anything!

" and Jesus is better than anything!"

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God.

Jhn 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

  4. I agree with Royce Ogle, that the alternative is very bad.

[John 3:36] Whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life, but whoever rejects Jesus will not see life, for the wrath of God remains on him.
That's a good enough reason for being a Christian, or better a disciple of Jesus.
And truly the Lord Jesus is better than anything!

BTW. Laymond; "there is NONE good but ONE".
Please tell me, is Jesus good?

Paul asked, "BTW. Laymond; "there is NONE good but ONE".
Please tell me, is Jesus good?"

    Let's ask him, Paul

"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God."

  6. Thans Laymond;
You are very wise to throw the question back at me; I know that you could not answer it.

If only God is good and Jesus is not God, then by necessity Jesus is bad, since only God is good.

If Jesus is not good then He would not be God; He would be a sinner just like you and I and He needed to die on the cross for His own sins.
    Unthinkable!!

But there is only ONE who is good and perfect without sin or blemish, spotless, the perfect lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He is the ONE who came from heaven Emanuel, God with us Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Paul

  7. I am a Christian because I am persuaded by the evidence that Jesus was bodily raised from the dead. What first drew me to him was his ethics and the conviction that if everyone lived as he taught, the world would be a different place. It would be the kingdom of God in its fulness. How can Jesus not be the way to God? He makes so much sense.

  8. Once you know the Truth, how can you not be!
Jesus makes all the difference in my life.
I've been rich and I've been poor.
I've been healthy and I've been sick.
I've been happy and I've been sad.
I've had Jesus and I've not known Him.
    Nothing else matters ...
and I can do all things WITH Jesus ...
poor, sick, and sad are all bearable with Jesus.
He is my best friend ...
I walk and talk with Him every day ...
    what a pleasure!

  9. What compelled me was the radical change in my wife after she gave her heart to Jesus. Her physical healing from blindness was nothing compared to the amazing transformation she experienced afterwards.. her changed life got my attention. After that the life, teachings and resurrection of Christ sealed the deal.

  10. I am a Christian because.. I had gone to a denominational church my entire life.. and ALWAYS felt like something wasn't right in my heart. I met my fiance and he introduced me to the Lord's church and suddenly everything made sense.. I realized wait.. lots of preachers don't back up whatever they say with scripture- So why do I believe it? It was a huge revelation for me and I ended up being baptized a few months ago.. now I am so happy..
