Thank You For Your Prayers

I want to thank everyone for your prayers for me and my family this past week.

I went to the Neurologist last week and had a botox treatment to relax the muscles in my head in an attempt to relieve the migraine. The doctors also are slowly cutting back my medications. I had an EEG, but haven't heard any news as of yet, so I am holding on to the hope that no news is good news.

The neuropathy in my legs and arms still gives me pain, but am continuing to get stronger each day.

As I mentioned in previous posts, the first thing I wrote in occupational therapy was: I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"(Philippians 4:13). God continues to give me the strength I need as I simply trust Him in all things. My family and I have felt your prayers and been encouaraged by your comments. You all are a blessing to my life. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we serve Him.

Dear brother Kinney,

You and your family remain in my prayers.

May I intrude a bit into your personal affairs and ask if you are in need of additional financial assitance. We would consider it a blessing to be given an opportunity to help. If you are in need please let us know how we can help.

Blessings in Christ,
-bill

Kinney,

Glad to hear at least some good news of answered prayers. We'll keep praying.

I suppose that a fringe benefit of botox is that you won't have wrinkles. :-)

Bill,

I appreciate you asking. I don't have health insurance, but my congregation has been accepting donations.

If you would like to donate, please send contributions to:

Rocksprings Church of Christ, P.O. Box 785, Rocksprings, TX 78880

Attn: Kinney Mabry Medical Fund

Please make out the check to the church and write in Kinney Mabry Medical Fund in the memo so the man in charge of our church funds (Jay Adams, Chief Deputy Sheriff, Edwards, County)will know how to deposit it.

That is one of our greatest needs right now. We have been so blessed so far in that we have been able to cover everything that has come due.

Hey there, brother! I am sorry to hear about the struggles you have been going through. Deeann and I are lifting you and your family up in prayers. I don't know if you had heard, but we are Texans again. I am preaching for the Garden Ridge church in Lewisville, TX (since July 07) and loving it. It would be great to get to see you and your family sometime. If you ever want to get away from the Rock Springs area and visit the Dallas area, we would love to put you up in the Jarvis hotel. It would be a blast to catch up on what the Lord has been doing in your lives, especially through the challenges you have been going through. Hang in there! We love you and believe in you--and we especially believe in the loving care of our Father in Heaven!

Scott,
Wow. It has been a long time. I have thought about you a lot brother. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers throughtout the years. You are one of the many who have made such a difference in my life, to help me become who I am today. It would be great to get caught up. Sharing with each other what ministry has done for us. I want you to know you are always welcome to post any comments on this blog. I will also visit your blog as well. I think it is a great to have you as a fellow blogger. I pray that God will bless your new ministry in a powerful way.

Kinney -

I'm SO glad you're doing just a bit better. I suffer from diabetic neuropathy, having been diabetic nearly 38 years, so I know how much it can hurt. I take a couple of medications for it that really help me, but don't know how they would do for you.

Email me and let me know what you're taking for the neuropathy and I'll share what I'm taking. Maybe we can help each other that way.

Thanks for stopping by Finding Direction while ago and commenting. I hope that one of these days you'll feel well enough to enter one of my photo contests. Glad you enjoyed seeing the winning photos!

I continue to pray for you every time I think of you, which is very often. You are on my mind and in my heart!

Much love,

Dee

A bit late, but I will be praying for you. Praise God that you have family and a church around you. I hope you continue to feel better. I especially hope that you don't find yourself in the pit of "hard to diagnose medical problems". However, even if you are, it's like David said: "even if I go down into the pit of hard to diagnose medical problems, You are there". :) Seriously, peace be with you, brother. Even in the dark places.

Kinney,

Brother you have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard of your struggles again. It is so good to hear you are doing better and that you and your family are continuing to bless the congregation at Rock Springs. Leslye and I are still in Stephenville, and actually about to buy a house. Come and visit any time. I was just reminded the other day about my blog, so I figured I would check everyone else's as well. Great job, your words continue to be a blessing to me. God bless you my friend and hope to hear from you soon.

Blessings on you and yours,
Joey

I have been searching for the perfect curl cream for most of my 33 year lifespan and I believe I

have found it in this product! I have a lot of fine naturally curly hair and this cream is great. Keep in mind, however, that a little goes a LONG way! For example, my hair is down past the middle of my back

and I use approximately 2 teaspoons. I apply it when my hair is wet, right out of the shower, and then just scrunch with a towel and that is all the product I need! It is a little costly, but this bottle

lasts me about 4 months.
