Prayer Request For Preacherman

Please say a special prayer for me. I had kind of a scare lately. Last week I began slurring my words, being disoriented and not being able to remember what I had done. I had a CT of my brain today. I praise God that I didn't have a stroke and it wasn't a tumor. The doctor thinks it might be a complex migraine and/or a seizure.

This weekend was really bad. My Dad came and preached for me and I have been having really bad mood swings.

Please pray for my health, but also for my wife. She drives 77 miles one way (154 miles roundtrip) 4 days a week. She has driven for 3 years trying to finish her Accounting degree. She will finish in December, but it has been a struggle especially ever since I have been sick. There has been times that she just wants to give up.

She has to take care of the house, the kids, the laundry, the cooking, me and teaching the children Bible class on Wednesday nights.

Please pray for our endurance and patience with each other as it has been strained lately.

Thanks.

    Heavenly Father,
I humbly ask that in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, that you would touch preacherman in his time of need. Jesus tells us in your word that if we ask believing, that you would grant our requests. Well, please grant this request of healing for preacherman because I believe with my whole heart that Jesus' words are true. I know that you alone have the power to heal and deliver from all the things that try to defeat us as Christians. So, Lord, I humbly pray for my brother, preacherman, and ask that you would bring healing to his body, comfort to his spirit, and joy to his heart. In Jesus' name I ask, Amen.

Blessings to you today, preacherman. I trust that God will bring full restoration to you in due time.

I am praying for you Mrs Preacherman. You are doing so much and I want to encourage you to continue on. I am mom who quit and regret it every day of my life. I only had one semester left in college. I felt the guilt to be a stay at home mom. I hate it. I hate my husband. I regret him every day he gives me a kiss good bye and goes to work while I am stuck at home with the kids. So please keep the faith. No matter how hard life gets. Finish. Don't reget what I do everyday.

  37. Kinney - you are in my prayers.

You too, janet - you should not go on being unhappy and letting it lead to hate! Don't let it separate you and your fellow. Tell him gently you're unhappy and want to finish school - if not now, soon. Please!

    Preacherman,
Tonight I prayed that the Commander of the Lord's Army, fight like crazy to rescue from your pain. May you have peace in your mind knowing that an attentive God is at work in a good and honest heart as yours

    Janet..
I pray for your heart be healed. That you might be healed of self-centeredness,anger and resentment. That you put to death the deeds of the body, which rages war against the spirit. That you quench not the spirit. That you turn to God and be healed. That you learn to give and it will be given unto you. That you look not to your own interest but to the interest of others. That when I was hungry you fed me,when I was thirsty, you gave me drink, that when I was naked , you clothed me, that when I was in prison, you looked after me; When I was hurting, you hugged me. That the covenant between you and God would be lived out in your relationship with your husband and that you may have the peace that passeth all understanding, which guards your heart.
Boy ! I can hear the swords swinging now.
    Thank you Father!

  41. Kinney...I saw your comment over on Mike Cope's blog and have been praying on your behalf already. My prayer is that God heal you of the migraines...free you from their grip. I suffer from about one a month and can't imagine suffering the pain day after day.

You are an encouragment. Thank you. God bless you.

I know that God, in his love and grace and mercy, is looking out for your best interest. I pray that you both are encouraged and able to live moment by moment in the wisdom and discernment the Holy Spirit speaks into your hearts.

  49. I am praying for you and your family. Just remember that this time will pass and you and your family will look back on this and say, "God got us through that time."

I believe in God's healing power! I am going to be believing for your healing and restoration!

I was reminded of Isaiah 40 that talks about waiting on the Lord and that through that time of waiting on Him, you will not grow weary or faint. He carries us! He is carrying you and your family.
